Igenix IG9900 9000 Control Panel
As stated in the introduction the Igenix IG9900 9000 control panel looks fairly fancy with each function laid out on the panel in a row from left to right. Each setting of the function is situated in a column above the main function button.
So moving from left to right across the control panel we find:
As can be guessed this button simply turns the unit on and off.
Above the power button is the;
This light comes on when the internal water tank becomes full from condensed water.
If the tank is full the air conditioner won’t operate. Simply empty the tank to get the unit to operate once more.
Next is Mode Control. This Igenix air con has 3 modes:
As the name implies in cooling mode the unit pushes out cool air. Warm air is then pumped out through the exhaust hose. Note that the exhaust hose must be vented outside.
You can adjust both the fan speed and temperature in cooling mode.
In dehumidify mode the unit dehumidifies the air that passes through the machine. The unit does not have to be in cooling mode for this to occur.
Fan speed may only be adjusted if the temperature is 25°c otherwise the fan will operate in the medium setting.
In this mode the exhaust hose should not be attached and the continuous drainage feature should be used.
In fan mode the unit circulates air around the room without being cooled.
Fan Speed Control
Next is the fan speed control. The Igenix IG9900 9000 has 3 fan speeds: low, medium and high.
A light will show which setting the unit is operating in.
Auto Turn Off
With this setting you can choose how long you would like the unit to run for in cool mode before it turns itself off automatically
Auto Turn On
With Auto Turn On you can select the time that you would like the unit to start operating in cool mode.
Timer / Temperature Controls
The default display is the current room temperature however you can adjust the temperature by pushing the up and down arrows. The temperature is only adjustable when the unit is in cool mode.
A pretty cool feature is that when you press the timer and temperature buttons together you can change the temperature reading from celsius to fahrenheit.
Igenix IG9900 9000 Remote Control
The remote control has the same function as the control panel on the actual air conditioner however the functions are laid out in two columns. Reading down from the left column first we get:
- On/off button
- Fan speed
- on/off timer control
Reading down in the right column we see:
The Up and Down buttons being for the timer / temperature control on the actual control panel.
The remote control takes 2 x AAA batteries.
There are full assembly instructions in the instruction manual.
The unit comes with a nozzle, nozzle connector and exhaust hose all which are detailed in the manual.
There are also clear instructions for semi-permanent installation.
The Igenix IG9900 9000 comes with a 2 year guarantee.
