I recently had the pleasure to chat with Chloe Woodhouse who is the media manager at Right Surveyors and manager of the Right Surveyors Corporate Blog. Of course I went and checked out Chloe’s blog and liked what I found.
First of all who are Right Surveyors? From their home page:
‘The ‘Right Surveyors’ are an independent group of property consultancy businesses, individually operated by fully qualified and extensively experienced property Surveyors. Each practice is a company regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), providing a high quality of property services.’
Chloe runs the Right Surveyors Blog which is a basic WordPress theme. This theme however gives the blog, and whole website, a very clean, sharp look.
The blog header image is a photo of where dense property meets the blue sea with blue sky filing the top of the image. Very fitting for a surveyor’ website.
As you scroll down the blog the posts, which are typically posted once a week, show up in their entirety which makes skimming them very easy. Should you then wish to read the whole article you simply scroll up a little back to the start of the blog post.
Blog topics are varied and include titles such as ‘What do I ask when viewing a property I want to buy?’, ‘Top 5 deposit-friendly decorating tips for renters’ and ‘Student Property Investment’.
Many of the earlier blog posts feature simple but effective images and some posts include interesting infographics which summarises the blog post in a single glance.
In the right sidebar is a list of Right Surveyors regional offices of which there are 15:
Also listed is a list of recent blog posts and recent comments on the blog. There is also an information tab called ‘Why Choose Us’ which gives 10 reasons why to choose Right Surveyors.
In summary if you are looking for a property blog without the usual distractions of opt-in forms, fancy graphics, advertising and typical overcrowding then the Right Surveyors blog will be right up your alley.
You will be hearing more from Chloe on the ByeMould Blog shortly. Stay tuned!
